What are you working on right now?
I am currently working full-time at a global strategic consulting firm, specifically in the healthcare sector. This encompasses practice areas in biopharma, medical technology, HCIT, health systems and payers - as well as healthcare private equity and new entrants into healthcare such as retailers.
Describe your greatest accomplishment.
My greatest professional accomplishment was acting as an international spokesperson while on a work assignment in Java, Indonesia, when a 6.4 M earthquake struck. I am very proud of how swiftly and calmly I was able to respond to reporters on behalf of the aid organization I worked for at the time, as well as communicate effectively what displaced and injured people needed the most.

Why did you choose your profession?
I love communications in all forms - written, verbal, visual - and the creativity that comes with telling a story effectively. All companies, brands and people have have a story to tell - sometimes they just need a little help crafting the narrative. I'm passionate about the impact communications can have on effecting change. One example of something that I am deeply committed to is to the transformation of healthcare in the U.S and its costs -- this will only happen with participation from all: healthcare providers, payers and patients. In order to do this, effective messaging is critical.
